Forensic Psychiatry Evaluations

Forensic psychiatry simply means Psychiatry and the Law. Forensic psychiatric evaluations of any kind are strictly for legal matters and court proceedings. Therefore, they are not intended for short or long-term treatment purposes.

A forensic psychiatrist is a psychiatrist who has formally trained in Psychiatry and the Law at an accredited Forensic Psychiatry fellowship program. Dr. Mallick trained at Emory University School of Medicine’s Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship program. She has received ample training and experience in civil and criminal cases as well as child and adolescent forensic cases. She is board certified in forensic psychiatry by The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).

Dr. Mallick is available to conduct forensic evaluations for civil or criminal cases. These cases include, but are not limited to, child custody evaluations, parental fitness evaluations, child sexual abuse case reviews, juvenile mitigation cases, criminal competency cases, insanity evaluations, medical malpractice cases, and disability evaluations.
